Who cares what happens to Mr. Smock next year?
Does it matter if he has a job? Who really cares if a man totally
dedicates himself to his job and loses it? What makes Mr. Smock
so special; people lose their jobs every day. It is a rough world;
dog eats dog. Justice is only the outcry of the weak. RIGHT?
WRONG! People in this world care about what
is right even if it means looking wrong. People know that when
a man is loyal to his job, his job should be loyal to him. People
know that there is always an easy way out that is not always the
right way. People support and believe in Mr. Smock. Are you one
of these people?
For the past three years, until recently, Mr.
Smock has received great evaluations. Not only has he received
great reviews from supervisors, but from teachers, parents, and
students as well. He is a dedicated teacher that always has time
for his students. Not just his students -- all students. He has
a classroom atmosphere that evokes learning as well as thought.
There are different levels of learning and understanding. There
is only a certain level that high school students can achieve.
Mr. Smock is able to take his students to that limit.
Clearly Mr. Smock is an excellent teacher.
The RDFA encourages you not to take our word for it. Ask around;
talk to other teachers and his students. It is not fair that a
role model such as Mr. Smock, that is so dedicated to his job,
students, and peers should lose what he is best at, teaching.
People know that Mr. Smock is a good teacher.
People know that he should continue to open the minds of students.
People know what they must do. If you are one of these people,
come support Mr. Smock at his Donaldson hearing Thursday in the
Cedar Hill School Library at 7:30. Mr. Smock has gone out of his
way many times for us. It is time to go out for him.
